We do all sorts of events here at AV Soluciones. Doing each and everyone of them is equally gratifying when we see the satisfaction and happiness in our client´s face, but there are some events which are specially fun for us. The annual MiM Series Awards dinner is one of those, no doubt! These awards are given to the best TV (and streaming platforms) series made in Spain. It meant a lot to us that the client chose us again because we know how special this event is for them, and you definitely can tell by how much care they put into every detail. This one also meant the comeback to the in-person format after last year´s edition, which had to be completely virtual.
The party took place in Puerta de América Hotel, where for the occasion we installed decoration like panels, red carpet and ambience lighting in the entrance (which was early beginning to be crowded thanks to spanish series´ fans) and along the corridor leading to the room holding the photocalls, which we also produced, installed and lightened.
The dinner took place in the adjacent room, where we deployed the required AV means for the Awards party, which is already known as the "Spanish Emmys"; an impressive 9-meter LED screen was the central element, which was used both as a backdrop and of course as a screen showing the content in the shape of videos or animated backgrounds.
As expected, the event went by smoothly and seamlessly, leaving both funny and touching moments. And there we were to make it happen, with a team of 9 technicians in charge of all the AV in the room and also a multicam production which we streamed live.
We want to thank our client for the trust they have in us so we can do our part to make this cermony grow year after year. And congratulations to all the awardees!
